Default whats wrong with this ?

the m3 being an e36 with 24hr tracker, as well as the skyling being an r33 vspec with tracker, the f40 not having a tracker at all and being parked on the drive.....

I'm more shocked at the Skyline costing nearly double what the F40 does....

Thinking being if you can afford one, you should be a bit more sensible.

And I would imagine they don't get pinched too often.

People who own Ferrari`s never use the bloody things so thats why it is probably cheaper cause they dont see the road, just the garage!

Due to amount of claims, try a Supra TT as I said before.
When my M3 was £600 the Supra was £300.

Yeah i totally get that. More 'Liners will be warpped up and robbed than an F40. But they also go on vaule don't they.

A simple car park ding in an F40 must cost the same as a good house deposit to put right.

Madness!

Anyway, now i know i can insure an F40. One step closer to the dream

I expect the excess would be high on an F40 putting off some of these types of claims.

as said, pretty sure they will go from the number of claims that involve that type of car.

Being rare will mean very very few claims on a car like that.

So was I, Elephant phoned up and I asked him about, said don't complain that's the price.
Wish I'd got one looking at how they held value compared to the M3 now
If that's an import quote uk may be a bit lower still.
Seems to be the bollocks way they go on number of claims.

Must just be the lack of f40's being stolen/crashed etc giving it the lower premium.

Just for the record could you try a 1998 (R) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 GSR... ive found mine to be more expensive than just about everything ive had quotes for

I was quoted £600 on an Escort Cosworth and £800 on a Sapphire Cosworth. It all depends how many claims have been had about the car quoted. Escorts are usually cared for and rarer than a Sierra hence cheaper insurance! I swapped the company and paid £500 for the Sierra
