Default cosworth stage 3 overboosting

ive upgraded my sapph to stage 3,it has a t34 with a .48 housing,i have adjusted the actuator so it just slips over the wastegate arm.it is boosting at 21psi.i was told when i unsuccsessfully had it set up that it should be 15psi for a stage 3 set up.if i adjust it anymore the wastegate will be permanentely open.i have a collins actuator which is brand new, could the spring be too strong?

15 psi is pretty much a stage 1. My stage 1 boosts to 18 and holds 16. I would imagine a stage three should be someone in the region of 22 - 24 psi.

If you have greens (803s) 21psi peak should be no problem

It shouldn't be anything other than what the author of the chip says as he set the fuelling for a certain pressure/psi.
Don't listen to ava, listen to the chip writer, as said most stg 3 around 24/25 psi, but a quick phone call will tell you, you should have got a sheet detailing how much to use boost wise.

The boost pressure should rise to a maximum of 27psi and hold 23psi and NO higher with a 0.48 T34.

This is what's in the instructions from MSD i got
Best to give Stu a call to be be absolute sure
