mine are fine and all my mates have never had a problem it's all down to tyre choice

you will need 205 40 16 or 195 40 16

and a stud conversion both very easy tings to do,

there far form ideal for say a track day but fine on a road car and they look grate

as said u need 195 45 16 or 195 40 16
then u just need the washers off sierra alloy wheel nuts.if u put the sierra wheel nut on an old socket u can hammer the washer off easily.

yer mine rubbed on the rear arch fronts are fine tho depends on what brand tyres you buy tho, Nangkang's look the bollocks stretched out not the best brand in the world but look rely good

def get harder shopcks or it'll still rub

the reason most people don't have prob's its they buy the right tyres and already have koni's etc

The offset is totally wrong for a fwd Mk3/4 Escort. They'll fit but the car will handle like a dog - and that's a fact. They will look ace though...

205/40/16 are definatly the best size for an rsturbo imo run them for years with no problems at all, i have also been told by alot of people stretching 195,s on is dangerous.
you will need to get the proper wot they call (ghia bolts) they sell them at speedshack, they are the correct length and have the right size collar on for the job, using standard rsturbo alloy wheel bolts with a sierra wheel nut washer is also very dodgy, especially on the front,by the time you have put the washer on,its gone through the cozzy wheel then your brake disc and into the hub you have about 3 threads holding the wheel on! mmm nice! been there done that. dont recommend it get the proper bolts.
