Hi guys

Well i picked up my first cossie (magenta 4x4 saph) for 5 year this afternoon and boy is it great to be back on the YB track!

after the initial grin of the boosting and wastegate wore off ( LOL they have not really ) i noticed a noise coming from the power steering when i am rolling or at a stand still. it sounds like the power steering pump is straining and it takes a bit to turn the wheel.

So apart from the obvious things like, did you check the PS fluid or your pumped knackered is there any advice you guys can give me?

So i cleaned of and tightened the belt. After driving around a bit i noticed that the was fluid coming out of the steering rack, so i changed it out for a recon jobby and it seems to be working fine.

So true! I have been in the states for the past 5 years and playing with them big straight 6's and v8's is all well and good but there is nothing like a YB in a sierra/Escort wrapper
