Ive got the chance of an MTX75 LSD Unit, ive got the MTX75 Gearbox as ive got an MK5 RS Turbo, Anyone any idea how hard it is to fit an LSD Unit to a gearbox, ive never stripped a box down, had engine right down to crank but ive always been told gearboxes are so complicated, any input will be apriciated, cheers. pete

 

the lsd from the RS box wont fit mate, so it'll have to be a nice expensive quaife one or sommat

ive done the RST conversion to my mk5 i used a S1 box, why not use that works a treat matey

 

Ive got a quaife LSD unit for the MTX75 (RS2K/2.0 FOCUS) box, i paid £350 for it brand spank new the gearbox is in my car and ive had to get a funny clutch for it as i had trouble finding a 220 plate with a 23mm input shaft as the input shaft on the MTX75 box is bigger, was just asking how hard these boxes are to strip!
