3/4" drive socket
3/4" drive 500ft/lb torque wench
off it comes
(althgouh i did use a steely spare with the brakes off so it would fit, then let it down and got a few bricks and the car in gear to get it off once and the other time i chopped a bit chunk out of the nut in order to replive some tension

)I used a big old torque wrench on mine the other day... Put all my weight behind it and smashed the inside the of the wrench to fooking bits... I then realised it was a left hand thread... doh ...came off easy when I undid it the right way

Just took the rear wishbones to my local garage, they un-did the main hub
nuts and the four smaller hub ones for me too..
Sometimes you need a air ratchet .

just undone mine, 3/4 drive socket with a power bar and extension pipe on the handle, and another powerbar through the wheel bolts wedged to the floor of the garage. She was tight but went in the end, no damege to the wheel bolt threads either.
putting lowered springs on the back, then on the front next time, and new drive shaft gators.

36mm, thats the size of the biggest socket in my tool box. (It also helps for the weight).
there are hollow shafts on the GpA car here, the shafts are light and yes, the wheel nuts are all the same size, makes sense doesn't it.
I've been looking at getting new hollow shafts made, looking at the most cost effective options. as long as the hollow shafts can take the torque from the new engine. Also lighter plunge joints are on the cards.

the old mans car is 600+ hp and 450 lbft trq and the shafts get lots of abuse and are fine (touch wood !!)
