Default Wheres best to get graphogen?

Is there any 'normal' place that sells graphogen? Halfords etc? Tried a few motorfactors but they can only get giant tubs for £40+ which is a bit overkill for just one engine

Why use it? I only ever use engine oil when building an engine and mine seem to work ok!

I always use it. You can never tell how long an engine is going to sit around before being started for the first time.

CVH cams need a holy blessing to stand any chance of surviving. Graphogen is the next best thing.

Fair comment but we drive the oil pressure up just before starting anyway & no failures yet.

We're the same with every other engine we build, but CVH's are in a league of their own. Honestly. It's partly to do with the design, but more to do with the lack of quality parts these days. Even OE Ford can't be trusted to be good, let alone Piper and Kent.
