Default headgasket?

right cars smoking alot i take it this means head gasket, cos the turbo still boosting fine or is there another reason 4 smoke? starting to wish i had kept me old frst

its a fiesta rs turbo, its just normal smoke colour lol nah my waters been fine and i looked 4 mayo and there was none, which colour smoke mean what then?

if it the smoke is white'ish it could well be h/g

if the smoke is blue'ish, its likely oil related

if the smoke is black its likely to be fuel related

ive come with a random theory tell me im stupid if it is?
but could the fact that one of the lifters isnt lifting right cause it to smoke?

if it smells of oil i expecting it might be burning a bit; it could be piston rings or it could be turbo oil seals

is there much play in the shaft?

the turbo,check it for up down side to side movement and it aint the bottom end that would be noisey real noisey

if you want im around your way at some point over the weekend but i could give it a compression test etc and test the rings for you and try and identify if its seals, gasket etc

it never smokes on boost its when i idle then slow down 4 a turnin and when im sittin there

Its not just condensation due to the sudden cold streak of weather we're having is it (not taking the piss btw, the amount of people that suddenly worry at this time of year is higher than you'd think)

it use to be my old car , but i broke it for spares, so never built the engine lol (and a crash werent the reson for breaking it )
