heated front screen

heated front screen
is there a common fault with the heated front screen on frst's cos mine wont work Ive tried everything i can think of even changed the switch any ideas?

Just use logic and follow the route, could be something simple like a broken connection.

are the reminals to the screen both connected? as ive often seen them broken

yea they both seem fine only thing i can think of is that when i put the piller bit back on im knocking them back off again?
also the switch doesn't stay in like the other 4 do?

try a pwer probe on it poss and work out what is and what isnt working?

Far more likely that one or more of the strands are broken inside the screen. I see it all the time, very common

so if one of the strands are broken in the screen that would stop the whole thing working? could a chip cause this?

I would do a continuity test on the screen. Like tabetha said and just follow the route. Not much too them to be honest

The wiring plugs in to a connector near the stereo (Round the back of the wiring harness, so cannot be seen if looking straight on. You need to pull it round!
