I recon so, fronts no problem.
I've got 225/35 17 all round with 8x17 wheels, did a little DIY arch rolling though.

but is the rolling Diameter close enough for a 4x4 and is a 7.5" rim wide enough for a 235 tyre?

surely all wheels on a 4x4 need to be the same size\width?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rolling radius will be COMPLETELY different and not even close, so will wind the centre VC up and eventually destroy it.

You CAN fit different size tyres front to rear, but the rolling radius has to be identical (a la Martoons car).

i have just been on a tyre size calculator thingie and it says:

205 40 17

circumference = 1871.8

235 35 17

circumference = 1873.3

is that not close enough?

That would be fine, but I have not heard of a 235/35x17 tyre before.

Personally, I would just run 215/40 all round.
