Hi
I was driving home today and i here a loud hissing noise pull over and see that the idle screw is missing, managed to get it home as i was 15mins away, i have put a normal srew in there and it idles fine, will this be ok for time being till i source another screw? if anyone has one spare let me know and i will have it off you

 

Anything to plug the airflow in from the hole is ok. Obviously you need to unplug the hole when adjusting. The actual adjustment screw is quite deep down.

Think you mean the mixture adjusting screw mate on the metering head, idle screw is on the throttle body.
But yeah anything to plug it will do just to stop the air leak.
