Hi guys,
I fancy having my rear shafts gun drilled, I have a mate who has a precision machine shop and am hoping to get him on the case...
Trouble is I dont know how much to remove, has anyone had this done to their shafts??? If so how much did you take out?? and what power are you running?
Any info gratefully recieved, not just info on cos shafts...any info appreicated
Cheers

basically you drill a a hole throught eh centre of the shafts, effectively creating a tube type shaft which can handle a lot more stress without failure.....also comes with an added benefit of weight saving (not just dead weight but rotational mass which helps reduce Inertia).
Basically I need to know what size hole to drill??
I'll try ringing the specialists monday and see what they recommend.
Cheers
