new msd chip to run greys on level 1 (bare in mind stage 1 chip spot on but slow) got a part throttle hesitationpain in the ass fine on WOT fast as fook but just driving normal it just really hold back before going foward and have to use more throttle to pull away???Suggestions,plugs?Had perfect results before on greys so not chip (although was told L1 map was very much off the shelf)As said runs without glitch on the old map from 1988but at same boost this is MUCH faster

 

What have you set the CO to? That file runs 14.5:1 of boost so if anything is wrong it will be hesitant.

You get the same issues when you bolt a swedish type plenum onto a std engine. Havent done that yet have you?

isnt this just the typical transient fuelling issues of greys on L1 stu or is that a myth?

 

I was told you would never get a clean stable idle on greys, odd that is what I have, 850rpm and well under 1.5% CO, can't see why the L1 would be particularly bad.
Unless that EXACT spec has been mapped before(and copied) any chip can only be a guess at best.

the idle is very stable and it runs great apart from part throttle low down response

 

Check you have plugged in the throttle position sensor

Also.... May I suggest a new set of injectors or have them cleaned....

Do you know anyone who can do this ?
