I basically need a price for a 'mate' to see if its worth buying one with a whiny box and dif..

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on gearbox for 2wd Saff? How much is a standard one and how much power can they comfortably hold? How much is an uprated box and when do you start needing to think about getting one?

ALSO, how much is a diff for one? and the same question re standard/uprated as above?

I have no idea if theres other bits needed and worth doing if your changing a gearbox and diff?

mine was fine on t34 and 21 psi

 

Exchange box Ł495.00+VAT, which typically is happy with 350-400 bhp

 

go for one of bernies boxes. they are the danglies!!!!

mines still holding strong, cant say that much for the car since everyone keeps driving into it
