linked to athritis, but it tends to be in your hands rather than your arms

something to do with the bits of bone that roll against each other wearing away and fucking you up

not quite singh!

swelling in the wrist compartment due to tightning of the flexar reticulm which is a band which goes around the tendons of the wrist. can effect the medium nerve. only gives you hand symtoms tho.

i've had both mine done
small cut in your wrist about 2 inches long
the op's called carpel tunnel decompression
my hands used to go numb if held any higher than my shoulder for any more than a minute or so
i got pins and needles in my hands all the time
used to wake up several times during the night with hand aching, always had to sleep with arm hanging out the bed to help circulation
got my right done couple years ago and my left done in may this year
dont think it affects shoulders just hands and wrists
and it is directly linked to artritus, its very common in my family, me my mum and my sister all suffer from it

Lees mum had the op for it as she had it, but even after surgery its not really any better. She cant grip properly still even after the op, i think its linked to her diabetes

Make sure it is defo carpel tunnel syndrome, as there is a lot of misdiagnosis about, as you say affects the flexar reticulum, and the MEDIAN nerve.
My g'f was aid by three dr's to have this but a specialist in Harley Street saw her and said no it's not.
She then got treatment for cubitta fossa syndrome, to some very good effect.
Hers is not rsi related but from a stroke when she was 3/4 years old, so she has partial paralysis on her left side.
I suffer from nerve problems but not caused by rsi, I take 400mg tramadol a day, my thora columba fascia was stretched massively so I get chronic pins needles numbness 24 hours a day.

surely your garunteed to get tingling anyway due to intermittant cutting of blood supply and repeated impact on the nerve???
