Default Just rung Three for my free upgrade

The comedy

Basically i rang up Three because i was due a free upgrade today, so i ring them and there offering me all sorts of crap which is no better than what ive already had for the last year

What do you like sir, good camera? mp3 player? bluetooth? errr yes but my old phone here has that already?

You like Nokia? sony erricsson? hmmm i dont mind what have you got?

How about a Nokia 6500 slide, it has a very good camera etc, yeah but its old

Then i said to him how about a K850i(as i know there good and have a good camera) and he goes "but sir this handset is 1 year old, its old sir" yeah ok its OLD, but its better than a crap 6500 slide

In the end i managed to sucker him into giving me a Sony C902 for free

Once again your common sense amazes me! Instead of ringing them and finding out for yourself, or at a push looking at their website and finding out for yourself - you asked here. And I bet no-one here works for 3

Lol, my N73 never broke once (unless you count the time I managed to pull the navi button off it lol) and I've had it since it came out - 3yrs?

Yet my mate has had 2 6500's, and a 6500 slide, all that broke. One froze (the slide) and refused to even turn off, so we pulled the battery and it refused to come back on One of the non-slides developed a USB connection problem and refused to charge, and the other gave up making or recieving calls - tho strangely texts still worked?

Suffice to say he didn't bother getting a replacement after the third

Since this thread would attract 3 customers its possible someone might know.
It was more an out of interest question, as obviously i can just ring to see(which is what i did) and funnily enough their NOT open 24hrs

I just don't understand instead of thinking "I wonder if the call centre is open 24hrs - I know I'll ring up and find out in 30seconds" you thought "I wonder if the call centre is open 24hrs - I'll ask on PF and wait for what could be ages to find out"

I called T-mobile to discuss my upgrade as 18 month £25 flex deal is ending and they offerred me absolutely nothing at all. I said i'm thinking of going to Vodaphone and they just okay. I asked them to give some kind of reason to stay but they recon they can't do anything at the moment, not even any free texts. Needless to say I will be switching come 16th October when my contact ends.

Absolute bollocks that is, i was only on 15 a month contract for 12 months and they offered me a new phone.

Just ask for your pac code(code you need to switch providers) they may give in when you ask this and offer you something, or maybe ring you in a day or two with an offer.

Either way you can get a brand new phone and a better deal for 25 nowa days
