pretty sure you shouldn't use a cossie pump with carbs as it'll be a high pressure one. you need a low pressure pump like abother facet. red top would do it i imagine.

could be the pump is foobar.cos pumps rely on the petrol to lubricate them,so running them dry, even on a test, can stop them working.
but a cos pump is too high pressure for use on twin 40s,buy another facet.

as said DO NOT USE a cossie fuel injection pump, you need a facet silver top for your application..

You're asking for advice, completely disregarding any given, then wonder why your still having problems

You NEED a lower pressure pump, pumps that supply a FI system run at too high a pressure.

i think red top is higher flow but don't quote me on it. i've got one i was gonna use in the escort but that was on 45s.
yep, my escort but sadly the shell's being sold to someone.
never got the chance to finish it but unfortunately i need the money so it's got to go.

as said the red top has a higher fuel flow rate than the silver top, for a standardish 2.0 engine a silvertop will be fine.
