Default turbo and n/a piston rings different?

as above, are the RS Turbo and std 1.6 cvh piston rings different? ive had a quick look and cant even find the piston sizes to see if theyre even the same diameter.

I do believe turbo rings in general to be different to n/a type. IIRC its something to do with the tolerances on the rings and their cutouts in the actual piston but please on't quote me.

Ford will have the part numbers on their computers st the service desk...ask them to pull you up the numbers for rst and n/a rings....might even be available still????

Cheers

go in mate, when you go in take a car reg for both....a reg for a known rst (on V5 too ) and a known n/a model....they'll be a lot more helpful then...

In my experience you're MUCH better off nipping in if you can...that way you can explain to them and show them what you're after on their screen pictures.

Cheers
