Nope. Won't fit.
Flange size is 108 on the Cossie one and 100 on other Type-B ones. It will physically fit in the rear beam, but will not bolt up to anything on the drivetrain.
Your diff should be a drum-based one and the Cossie one will be a disc-type. You would need to either convert to discs on the back or go for a mix-match of shafts to make it work.
You could have one of the rare 1.8 CVH models with ABS. Therefore you could already have the rear discs, but the shafts, etc... still will not fit the 2wd Cossie diff.
Rear discs and a 4x4 Cossie rear diff would work though

Thanks for helping guys.
I race my knackerd old sierra in the super rods down in dover and when the is damp (all the time) i get no traction what so ever out of the corners so i'm gunna try a welded rear diff.
I found a diff from a saff cos and it says it had been welded i didnt even think about it being an lsd . Thats either a waste of time or someones telling tales.
If it dont fit then i'll just get mine welded.
Thanks

you might be able to remove the output stubs from the cossie diff and then your lobro ones should just lide in and mesh with the splines, but weather they will fit when everythign is bolted up together is a different matter altogether

The welded diff will only do two things, push your car straight into a ditch, or make the back end step out in every corner. I've got a welded 7,5" cossie diff and it's a nightmare.
