I have a RST S2 engine running about 250bhp but now I’m looking for some monster power. I’m not sure whether to make a 2.1 ZVH conversion or a full 2.1 Zetec turbo. Once in full race trim, will there be any big difference in power between the two? And what about the money that I will need to spend on each? Which of the two options requires the most modifications in the head, bottom end, etc.?

cvh head aint great for huge power.....apperntly!

if you wannt get upto 300hp go CVH or ZVH, or if you wanna go beyound, go full 16v zetec turbo...

Shings has a 280-300hp (unsure of figure) as well as C+B who also has a HUGE powered CVH...so it proves they can be made to hit in the regions of 300hp to...not bad for a 1600cc!!!

Sid has a FULLY balls out ZVH and producing HUGE amount of power (not sure howmuch exactly but im sure 300hp was mentioned)

same time, Sunny had a, i would call it....balls out Zetec turbo and running in the 400hp region IIRC (could be wrong!)...now he is going FULLY balls out but will have to wait and see the results

mk4cabby - thats the other option start off with 220ish hp and work up...but they do weigh more...so rolling start with both engines producing same power and Orion will win every time...not sure on top end though lol
