does anyone have a list of the colours on an ERST loom, and waht they do?

i'm trying to mate the rear lights/ boot light etc (not central locking or windows though) to my orion and there are some colours that dont match, i can trace the onion ones back to source and see what they do but i dont know what colours to put them with.

have you got a volt meter or a test bulb by any chance?

if you do earth it to the body and try each wire coming off the new loom

eg put the normal light on, so you would have the back lights on, and keep touching each wire at a time till you have a reading or the bulb comes on, then you know which wire is for what and so on

sound bud, i know what you mean, i was just hoping someone might have a list and save me the time

theres no power yet, batt is still off, but it was just a job i was doing today and i hate it when i cant finish someting

 

If you have a haynes manual they show you the colours in the wireing diagrams if that helps.
