Default cosworth fuel pumps and filters...

has anyone got the black plastic fuel line and fittings, including the dome nut etc going cheap. i will get new copper washers of course, but im having real trouble finding the correct fittings for my 3dr.

i have the inlet part for the 044 pump, but not a copper washer.

can the black hose be cut down and the banjo refitted without any problems?

as i want the inlet and outlets to be on the same side, not go around like the do as std.

as the fuel tank is in the car, will it make the car smell of fuel?

and finally, where can i get the copper washers from lol?

thanking

Fudgey; i wanted to do a simiar thing to you;

basically the platic type pipes were worn on mine and i had a job making the banjo's fit again after replacing the fuel filter (kept leaking)

i replaced the banjo with new items from Preston hydraulics down Kembrey park; i also got fuel line from them and cut the plactic pipes and them put the new fuel line over the top to make it seal; i'll take a pic tomorrow to show you bud

i might even have some fuel line left over

i'll PM you tomorrow

cool, cheers mate, i think i get what you mean.

ive used pirtek fittings and hose for all the fuel stuff, but the pipe would be too short between the 2, and the ferrells would touch each other. i did suggest making one in a U shape, but they didnt have the fittings anyway...

gayness!

i still have some hose left over, so could probably use the fittings and just jubilee the hose on. should work

maybe

infact heres a pic of the pump and filter (not in the place it will be once fitted, im gonna turn the tank around so the take off is pointing towards the front of the car)

i need both fittings for the filter, and dome nut etc for the pump.

should be able to sort the pipe out myself
