Default mk1 Transit tipper (pinto turbo)

from the performance tuning stable (alright, it's not a stable it's a chicken shed) that brought you the goonybus, see the current project below

a mk1 transit that was fitted with a tipper bed is being modded to run with 2.0i pinto fitted with turbo technics kit running 0.9 bar boost.

the tipper bed has been removed for weight saving (and to remove any chance of having traction in the wet ). but the back can now be used as a stand for cleaning cossie cylinder heads

heres the engine in place, above which you can see the 2wd cossie 'interwarmer' placed nicely to get hot. it's planned to have an impreza style bonnet scoop to feed it cold air.

a close up of the little t2 turbo - great for mid-range punch

'unique' oil temperature sensor position in the turbo oil return

fiesta xr2i dash conversion and additional gauges

and the next project? i'm trying to convince him to put the tranny camper that's parked next to the goonybus (do not try and race this thing unless you have at least 300 bhp - in a straight line at least) back on the road for this year. it just needs the front door steps doing and should pass an mot. would be brilliant for the easter 'ring trip
