I think the problem is that we get people call the nicks with stupid questions... such as do we know the number for the local Chinese takeaway, or do we have a cab number..

It is not really the Police's fault I suppose, I just think it really sucks that I can't get a number to contact my local station, it all has to go through the fuxing switchboard... To make matters worse, they have lost my complaint, and I have had to make it again today, another 2 weeks wasted ...

 

If you are ever not happy with the level of Policing then complain. They do have a department just for that

 

0845 is local rate but if, like me, you're on a BT package, these non-geographic calls are charged instead of being included in the monthly bundle.

I can get the local number for my cop shop. Just search the place then police in google and its the top link.

Strathclyde police though, might be different elsewhere....

0870 is national, we had to change is at work due to customers complaining,,, to 0845 THEN to 0800,,,,, and someone complained cause HES operator charges the 0800 on hes mobile at local rate,,,, HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU PLEASE THESE PEOPLE !!!!

 

 

Most mobile phone operators charge for 0800 calls, and BT charge for any other non-geographic numbers, instead of taking them from included minutes. To please all the people all the time, do like I did - publish the 08** number and the regular landline number.
