starting out in concours
hi all
i have what i like to think is a tidy mk5 fiesta, stripped out, race car.
however i would like to get it as close to concours standard as i possibly could.
has any one got any advice for me that will help me getting it up to scratch?
regards
si

putting some pics up may help mate.
when the cars clean, take picture of the outside and inside then post them so peeps can see where your at.
What level are you heading for???, i only say that as there are levels of concours but the top level know to Ford people is very high.
Have a look here or levels

lol you having a laugh? Standard class they pick up if your wheels have got mismatched production dates on. The number plate thing imo is blatantly obvious....letters too small being a modern font, along with the later modified letter D being used.

i heard you have to register the car first. ( well rsowners concours anyway) not sure about other clubs and shows?. I was almost going to do it with my fiesta, but am just of to tidy it up, then thrash it round tracks. better to drive them then have em doing nowt.
If you want to see an example of fiesta concours check out
