hi guys.

new to cosworth's normal have rst s1/s2 rs16i xr3i..

just need a few prices on replacing vavle stem oil seals. [2wd cosworth]
can they be done by taking off rocker cover or is it more involed i.e head off i have no idea at the mo all advice is greatfull

it is a head off job,although i have heard some people on here say they have done it with head on!cost wise i would say if head off around the 1k mark

 

Easily done with head still on, but fiddly it is, using the nylon rope trick.
I would budget for around 4/5 hours to do plus parts.

thanks guys.. will have to see what cylinder leakage test comes back as.....
