on the way back from totb the clutch on the escos started slipping,not surprised after some very hard launches,
took it to bits and found the plates a bit worn and general heat spots on the plates.so cleaned it all up ,made some adjustments to get the clutch to grip,and refitted it.
got the box back in and tried the clutch,and its now pissing out all the fluid from the center push hydraulic unit,obviously i have fooked up refitting it lol,
so cant be bothered to take it out again,so its not going to ford fair.
i will have to go in the old mondeo.
this was to be its last trip out before being broken for spares to make way for the new fwd project,as usual its gone fubar again..so i have some track time if anybody is interested. and will post the car for sale or parts later.

 

sorry to here that lloyd i was looking forward to the 0-60

2 pm
4.20 pm.
break it or sell it complete,iam not in any rush.worth a lot more in spares.
it was going after ff anyway.iam fed up with it now,and really want to start the new project.

12 & 2 im out on track such a shame get the box back out fix the seal & get it there there is still time

 

lol iam getting too old to be lying under a car till late at night trying to get it ready for the next day.

 

is there no one local that can help out to get the car there

engine is worth about 6.5k running set up,part ex yours you can have it for 4.5.dont forget you would then need gear box and diff to cope,

 

lloyd stop being lazy and get it fixed! i still want a passenger ride in the car!

 

lazy lmfao, i have done nothing but work on it for the last 2 weeks,getting it ready for totb ,and now ff.

 

you know you will miss it when its gone tho mate, as for the fwd idea that sounds crazy
