Default Big Big Big Thankyou to ..................

TOTD!!!!!!!!!!

i would just like to say a massive thankyou to all the guys torque of the devil. After hearing of my previous tuning story,THEY contacted me to say that they would be able to have a look at my car to try and put things right if i can get down there right away....Within 10 mins of the guys looking at it, it was running alot better. Chris and the guys played about with it a bit more to try and iron out a few issues.Within 30 - 40mins the car seemed transformed completely. They've advised me that the car is still running quite rich, and that theres nothing that can really be done to resolve this due to the map on my chip.chris had one last attempt to try to lean the car off,and told me that was as good as its going to get and could get a bit more power out of it with the correct fueling
. To say im happy with the car is an understatement, and to see that much difference in such a short time has taught me a very big lesson....."good things come to those who wait!!!"* And funnily enough, its now running fine peaking at 17psi on the same plugs the other company claimed were blowing out at 11-12psi due to me needing uprated plugs!!!!!I really cant praise the guys enough, and would HIGHLY recommend them!!! I will NEVER go anywhere else from now on and will point ALL of my mates in their direction! They didnt have to go out of their way for me , but they did, and im extremely thankful.
They have put me back to thinking positively about my car when 24 hours ago i couldnt bare to look at it.

They obviously werent able to cure the bit of blue smoke that appears from time to time.Got a feeling the turbo didnt like the bleed valve removed, and being twanged up to god knows what boost the day before when in the hands of that OTHER COMPANY which was full of muppets!

If your in need of a tune up,i wouldnt recommend anyone else

Im baffled by engine tuning especially when it comes to mapping etc. If you were to change the chip would it solve all the problems alltogether?

it obviously wouldnt stop the smoking, but its just the case of the actual map on the chip not being quite right. The map is throwing in too much fuel when its coming on boost. Theres not really a way round it. Either get a chips map adjusted to suit(agro being that it is frst ofab management) or bite the bullet and opt for aftermarket management......

it was an off the shelf bayjoo one wasn't it?

these seem to be set really quite rich and safe to limit damage if set up incorrectly buy a DIYer.

have a word with the supplier and see if anytihng can be done about it

if not give a call to motorsport developments or grove garage, both can supply a proper chip.
