Unhappy how much power on mfi

how much power can u get out of mfi safely....or should i just conver to efi for more safe power

The air flow meter itself doesn't flow more than about 230-240hp worth of air, but each metering unit differs in how much fuel it can supply.. anything from about 170 to 220hp!

Basically you get it set up somewhere and they will tune it to the max safe (hopefully)..

I do recommend programmable EFI injection system and wasted spark.
Ke-jetronic ignition controlling arent sharp enough when pushing more power out of the engine and fuel managment is bit rough. I think ke-jet was invented in 70´s..

my ex rst has 180ps with ke-jetronic and it everytime dropped little lean when pushing hard and only 10psi of boost. This way i destroyed more than 2 engines, 4 conrods and 4 pistons.
Then i get programmable efi and after then there is no need to open engine any more.
And this only when some professional has been mapping the controller with wideband afr system.
Now i have "new" hobby car.. RST naturally and i megasquirt & wasted spark system installed waiting for proper intercooler & new better injectors and then proper mapping for EFI.

oh my god now the whole engines stoped running ...someone said it could have bin valve meeting piston...but i thought it was bottom end...and now it wont even run at all...or turn overwhy me...lol....oh god moving house in 3weeks ..could it get worse...sshhhhhhiiiiiiiitt

i think im goin efi as soon as i cAn aford it....so ill need head...inletmanifold...pipes..plus charge pipe maybe....whT ELSE?...ECU

with a fifth injector i am running 267bhp with an afr wideband meter and it dont lean out at all at top end. @16 psi

My mate used to run 247bhp @ 14psi on mfi using a 1.9 tall block.

wicked im liking the sound of that....i think im going to need cossie brakes for sure now.........it might be ready for ford fair.....fingers crossed
