right just got the sappf for a drive n noticed the rev are on 500rpm on idle?Deffo not right.dont think all cylinders are running right

It doubt it will be the ISCV if it's not runing on all cylinders, more likely a plug or lead, what i normally do is, with the engine running and bonnet open, disconnect and reconnect the leads one by one till you hear no difference, that will tell you which cylinder isn't firing, and like i said will most likely be a plug or lead.

Better still, take it off, it's only 2 screws, clean it up and wire it upto a battery (i think i just used a square 9V one like you find in a smoke alarm), it should click as it's just a solenoid, i had to do this with mine as the car sat for almost 2 years and it was stuck, put some WD40 on it and it was ok after 10mins.
