i have just read this months edition of top gear, issue 181

Sub 7 & rwd cant see that being beaten very easily.

Yeah, I expect so mate, I think he had a boost leak too, and his drivers seat was on fire which was distracting him, thats why its SO slow

the 0-100 time doesn't in anyway show the potential on Rods car though

and it doesn't say that its 2wd either...

If I was reading that and I didn't know how spastically fast Rods car is... I would think 950bhp? yeah.... more Cosworth bhp bollox!


They should have given Rods amazing in gear times... like his 120-170 or something and compared that to the Veyron!

I bet there is some places where Rods is faster than the Bug!

and thats my point.... how much cooler is that statistic than the one John Thomas put... about the MUCH MUCH heavier and only slightly more powerful car destroying Rods to 100mph.

You think so? I've always had a lot of time for him. Spent time with him through work, and he's a properly funny bloke.

Not saying his technical accuracy is particularly excellent, but I think he carries off his own writing style very well.

 

Bill is a cool guy I like him and fine with what he wrote.
