Default Best Dog Insurance?

Who is best then?

it seems to be a bit of a mine field and different limits on each condition or per year etc.

I obviosuly want cover that provides life cover and not until the end of the policy!

any ideas?

your local vet will have a number of policies. we got cover for our cats although its only meant to cover 1 animal we said our cat was called "blackie" as all our cats were black they woudnt know the difference so we could cover them all on the one policy. saved us a fortune over the years in vet bills

ive not bothered with pet insurance as there are many loopholes in them and they get out of paying a lot of people, instead why not put money into a seperate bank account every month and then its there if you need it, gaining interest!!

if you dont use it then you dont use it, but it will soon mount up

our policy was about a tenner a month. it would take a lot of months to save up enough to cover the average vet bill at that rate.
ours always paid out.

petplan is the most common one and works well according to the other half (Vet Nurse)...

Check the T&Cs for your dog though... loads of variation in what the cover etc etc
