My S1 keeps stalling on and off. Can do it a few times a day but then run for days with no problem. Not an air leak as when she's running i've checked and wobbled and shook eveything in the engine bay and she still runs sweet a nut. When she has stalled, it sometimes won't prime (but i thought that it does'nt if there is already enough fuel in the system) and sometimes the fuel pump does'nt sound like it should when priming after stalling. I have the relay in bits now and have been driving around till it stalled again and then checked the coil contacts in the relay during start up and can't see a problem. Sometimes when the car is sat ticking over the fuel pump does make a weird sound like everything is'nt as it should but that could be a faulty pump or the relay playing up could'nt it ? Where's your money at guys ? Anything else it may be ? cheeRS
