There is an article comparing the new Focus RS to the Escort Cosworth.

Comparing it to an escos is like comparing paper to silk,it's an st in a different suit,nice,but not an escos.

 

fifth gear did an EsCos VS Focus RS Review on the last RS....

The EsCos was quicker around the track, i bet this one would make the EsCos look silly.....

 

We'll see m8,had it been 4wd and 350 bhp they would have flown out the showrooms.

& when it lapped the 'Ring in very low 8's with 260bhp on normal tyres

i have had a car that was a auto express front cover feature car, it was tested that hard it went faster than the manufacturers own times,using proper timing gear.
they don't drive them slow

 

Saw that on my auto express, i think it is fords monte example thats been wheeled out for it.
They used an imperial blue one against the RS on 5th gear and it was faster by over a second.
