has anyone ever tried tuning a 1.6 Zetec? If so how much have you improved it at what price?

 

Tuning a 1600 zetec is simple. Here's a step by step guide.

Step 1.

Remove engine.

Step 2.

Throw engine in the bin.

Step 3.

Fit 1800/2000 zetec and enjoy responsibly.

I knew that would be the case lol, its just insurance worries. For that I need to upgrade brakes/suspension? btw cars a mk3 fiesta si

 

in case of the si do what i did, BIN IT , grab a 2.0ltr enignin, deep desk or dewy ect, 2.0 maf and put that in !

If insurance is going to cripple you then just wait it out..

The only reason noticeable power upgrade you can get on the 1.6 'E' engine is by either nitrous oxide or turbo charging it.. the head is very restrictive in n/a form.

 

its had all the usual cheap bits n bats likes air filter, its had port polish. I had a crash in my van a couple of week ago and its still pendin pendin so im tryin to lay low with insurence lol.
