Having trouble with the indicators etc on my S2. I've changed the indicator stalk, relays all seam to be working but this is happening;

* No indicators, either side, but hazards work.

* Sidelights work and full beam comes on if you pull on the stalk. Dash illumination works.

*dipped beam doesnt work, niether does full beam.

Any suggestions?

 

try another stalk mate.

 

Just wondering if changing the stalk again would work, as the problems are identical whatever stalk I use.

 

get the haynes manual out and start looking at them diagrams. Sounds like a broken wire for an ignition 2 12volt supply to the switch. check the condtion of the wires carefully from the switch back to the fuse board

 

Get a decent un cut loom mate, ive been having the same problem with mine for ages and it looks like the best option is to change the loom for one that i know works, a pain in the arse i know but worth the hassle

 

Lol after building and then breaking the fiesta I've had enough of playing with looms It's off to the garage Wednesday to see if they can sort it.
