series 2 front wheel bearin is fucked how easy is it to change? how long?

theres a post about this not long back,its a pretty easy job,depends how fucked it is!i just change the whole hub,easier still

pretty simple, just watch the bottom bolt and nut that holds the ball joint to the bottom of the stub axle, i did mine and snapped the fucker, was a right cunt finding a bolt that fitted.

my advice is take the whole hub off which is really easy and take it to your local garage, aske them to press it out. I wouldnt recommend using a hammer n socket etc, they are really easy to damage. It cost me 20 for thr bearing and a few tinnies at my local garage, but he is a mate of mine

get it pressed out, always use the right tools when you can, or its just a temptation for things to go wrong, and eventually they will.

i have found out that i need new hubs and carriers as they have water corrosion
