Im bringing this car back from the dead. It looks quite savage but really it isnt. Back end rotted badly and the sills to floor but everything else pretty sound. I bought it for the parts really but it seemed a much better shell than my other one.
Its going to be built up on a jig so all the datum points line back up with manufacturers tolerances and im putting on a non sunroof roof skin as I dont see the point I never use a bleeding sunroof never have and this stops all the rot and water getting in.

totally agree with Stickerpaul, i thuoght mine was a rust bucket, but heho this beats evry'thing, nevertheless, thumbs up in daring to love this car .
As to do such a project, as was/is mine, you truly have to love this kindda car

 

Thanks lads. It really does look worse on the pictures, Its only rusted because of Mr Fords complete lack of undersealing vital structures such as chassis legs and boot floors lol. At least the underside is mint enough.

Thanks for all the support Ive just bought a house so I`ll be spending all my money on that for the next 2 years lol But it has a bling workshop and lots of extra space which I need as you can see my current garage is only 6ft6" the new one is 11ft6" with an attic space and a lot of extra space for extending. I will be mainly preparing lots of parts and powder coating zinc plating etc.

Bad news though my mum and dad threw out my ARB and my new fuel tank???? They are mental and I went mental. lol But I get those again when im nearer to the time. lol.\

At the mo I have some forged rods and accralites for my cvh if Im able to flog them I will build the 2.0 zetec or a zvh I have in my garage.
Im also looking into a cossie YB transplant but I think that I wont be able to afford that in the slightest as im looking at at least £4000 just for the fabrication and I d say another 2000 on the bodywork and painting then looking at the engine? 350 brake cossie yb I reckon alot of dough.

If I can save up about £2000 and get a loan for about £14,000 then I will. DEpends on how much I have to pay per month on a loan. I been offered 10K by My mortgage company at 5.6%APR which is fairly reasonable. I need to pay off soem debts first though.
