my fuel pump prime sounds weak/non runnin rs

Default my fuel pump prime sounds weak/non runnin rs

cant get my car 2 start, bin off the road 10 months, no fuel getting to the injectors but everywere else, my pump doesnt prime nice an loud like it use 2, so i bought another 2cd hand one, an it sounds exactly the same weak, do u think i hav a faulty wire causing this? cheers

hi m8 your injectors might be blocked if its bin off the road that long. take one injector off put it in a clear plastic bottle turn ignition on then push metering unit flap down petrol should fire threw injector if not its blocked. also check your fuel return pipe to ya tank it mite be blocked.

i havnt took the injectors out yet, iv had the 4 injector pipes off at metering unit an pressed flap whilst its bein cranked but it trickles out, an doesnt hav enuff pressure to go up the line to the injector, might i have a airlock ? if so how do i check/fix cheers

at the back of the pump there is a non return valve valve that sticks, this happened to me, i changed many pumps but not the valve so may be worth a try.

nope i havnt changed it as i fort it was working ok cause the pump is priming, would it still prime with a faulty fuel pump relay?
