Default Head gasket oil leak

Struggling to find an oil leak thought it was dizzy seal, but after cleaning that corner of the engine down it looks more like it's a cam seal or can an oil leak develop like that on the head gasket.

Any idea's

surely you can see if its coming from between the block and head or from the rocker cover? - start the car and watch, assuming your talking about a YB, commonly the cam cover leaks from the front studs or in the corners where the half moons sit

Then it can drip down to the dizzy area too.

Old trick, wipe the area down or degrease if possible. Get some foot spray talc stuff and give the area a dusting. Any oil tracking moves the talc quite clearly.

Also good for tracking water leaks and cleans up afterwards too.

as said above camcover gasket common as are the cam seals,also te green O rings that seal the cam race bearing housing!

If it's the cam seals replace with VITON, and they will last forever as they are made to take heat unlike the std ones.
Another very common area is between the front cam caps and head as people do not smear sealant here when putting together.
