Default Fighting Torque tickets available from

For tickets ring 01469-560574 or ft@javalintrackdays.co.uk

Been asked to give a bit of publicity to this event.
Basically a 1 mile drag race with cars side by side.
Taking place at Woodbridge on the 10th August 2008
Over 70 entrants so far.(see below)
Its for fully trimmed road cars not for cars prepared for competition.
My own car was not accepted because it was too extreme BUT the events Sponsors Toyo offered me a chance to be a Sponsored Demo car & i will find out the deal probably tonight with talks with the UK Publicity Manager.
Its being covered by 5th gear ( They knew my car so were keen) & the publishers of six Top mags & a video will be realeased.

The aim is to find a suitable car for mine to go head to head as a Demo run, at the mo they are trying to get a Veyron or a Caparo T1 but its not proving easy to find owners of such cars to put it on the line.
An alternate car has been found & its one of the fastest & best known cars in the UK.
All this depends on me making the startline so wish Me/Mark luck, we will give it a try.

Tickets will be available on the FT site but Im just gauging interest.

just out of interest how come your car is deemed as too extreme, but they are allowing a 1100 bhp Skyline to run?

Because the stickers on Rods car add too many horses than the rules allow

Fair play Rod, show em who's boss.

Think I'll come for a look at this.

What defines your car as too "extreme" to take part? Surely a Veyron could easily be classed as much more extreme?

Nick,

Is that Scrote that lives in Ipswich?

I'm just up the road from the event and have done a few trackdays at woodbridge.

I would love to go along to this event but i was under the impression that spetators are not allowed.

Snap so does my younger brother. A couple of really good curry houses there and a great cooked breakfast cafe down by the river.

The perfect car I suggest it would scare the shit out of most of the entrants. Like you Martin its very short notice, on Saturday I try to move my motor after 2.5 years under lots of other cars bits. The bench will be cleared in the morning so the bits can be sorted so the Sheadmeister can start assy on Monday in other words we aint yet started .

You have less to do than I would on Cosmo, I reckon you should be ok as long as you have no problems. How much would a push system cost for Cosmo??
