whats the spec? what head gasket did you use?

 

yeah built it myself, with help of a few mates knowlege,
its a 1.8zetec bottom end, standard rods/pistons (pistons skimmed) arp bolts,
head has mild ported/polish newman camshaft, dble valve springs piper pulley,
turbo is st2 maybe st 3 T3
alloy rad and intercooler
superchiped ecu,

hoping for around 150bhp ATW safely

Is it MFI or EFI? Should piss 200bhp really.

 

deffo more than 150 plus your probaly get loads more torque

That's most likely to be your limit before anything else.

 

mates running ovr 180bhp ATW stil on mfi

 

with a 5th injector on mfi mine was rr at 267bhp. (2.1 tho)

 

are they standard zetec pistons? (cast) need to be a bit ginger on what boost you set it at. Im doing a 2.1 over this winter so I will be asking you for some advice if that ok matey???

 

sure thing matey, yeah itl be running under a bar, appaerntly a bar is around the limit for standard pistons

im using c20 ex pistons the early type as there forged ill find the part code if you want and mine only cost me Ł40 off ebay.

 

My S2 before I broke it was recorded at 265bhp at the wheels with a 5th and 6h injector on MFI!

 

Mine did 155 atw standard internals 1.6 MFi I'd hope to breeze 150 with your spec
