i saw it one time a few weeks back
they "caught" some guy on the phone while driving his car coming back from a cruise (southend i think) and gave him the story about getting 3 points
the guy then broke down because that meant losing his license, his job, his car and his house
the copper just shrugged his shoulders and said "tough"
condradice this with the coppers from road wars
caught a driver driving dangerously along the M4, undertook loads of cars, doing about 130
gave him a tug and read him the riot act about getting points, court loss of license etc
the guy said the same thng, lose his job, house, car, etc
THAT copper said "looks like you are going to learn your lesson then eh fella, take this as a warning and don't be so silly, now, on your way"
the driver was practically grovveling at his feet with relief
now, which copper do you think passed the message of being a safe driver on better?
and which copper gave off the more friendly advise?
and which copper do you think the guy will go back and tell his mates about in glowing terms?
and who's made a driver think about what was going to happen if he did it again?
and who's basicly alienated the driver and reinforced the stigma that all coppers are cunts?

They were filming in Clacton today
Pretty sure theyve been doing a bit of work in Colchester too! One of my police friends informed me of them being out this way, and then today i went passed a mini that had been pulled by the Subaru and a bloody film crew behind
