Thumbs up Rs Turbo Revival

right lads ive got an h reg mercury grey escort turbo ive owned it for over a year now and when i first got the car i loved it i then took the engine out to put a 1.8 zetec turbo engine into it and never got round to doing it so i was skint and sold loads of parts off the car now its basically a rolling shell and it needs welding its seen a welder once before in its life and that was in the boot just next to the passenger side rear light and is about the size of a fag packet its also needing sills and welding done in the footwells
a respray new arches and everything bought for it that i sold eg bonnet front bumper etc
so basically what im saying is do you think i should scrap it OR
do the welding get it resprayed build it up from the bare shell and slap in a focus rs engine
money isnt a problem i could just scrap the car and buy another one but that would be lazy
what do you guys think

Save it i reckon but it depends on if you can be arsed really as of course buying another one would be easier but then i think i get satisfaction from seeing the big changes in my car as my orion needed loads of welding also..
Yeah save it i reckon

If cash is'nt a problem, get the shell sorted properly. Fair enough you could buy another car but that'll probably need work too.
Least when its all done you know you have a decent car, plus its somthing you've built... save it mate

It gives you satisfaction too!!! Lol

I've been restoring mine and it does give you satisfaction. When I finished restoring my XR2 and it got rolling roaded and MOT'd it felt great that I'd achieved that!

Restore it mate!

Well if you ever have second thoughts again about selling it gives a shout and I'll take it off you! I've been hunting for a grey H plate in Scotland for ages that needs some TLC.
