can you still get them from ford?

i asked my local car spares for one and i thought i had two heads! clueless.

 

doubt ford do them anymore i have seen them on ebay before, next best thing to do is get a sheet of cork and make your own

 

i had a look on ebay, but got nothing.

i havent been to ford yet, i was just being lazy and thought i'd ask on here first before i made the trek! i did think about makig my own, but dont know where you'd get the cork from. gasket paper i think is too thin.

you mean the gasket between the metering unit and the top of the air box?

It's just a paper gasket, no problem cutting one by yourself.
