Audi bits, cheapest place
Hi,
Need a VAG 235 SIGNAL CONDITIONING UNIT, that goes with the EGR sensor on a audi 1.8 Turbo engine, from audi TT etc.
Is there any obvious place/tuner for this part, as Euro car parts not much help, they kept saying do you mean the lambda sensor, to which five times I replied no, it senses TEMPERATURE in the exhaust, that is why it is called a EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE sensor, surely this is clear enough!!
Thanks

Bobby Singh,
Unfortunately, no parts there any good to me, but than you for the repsonse anyway.
Lee Ivatt,
I did not even think about GSF, thanks for reminding me!!
I managed to track down the EGT sensors on bosch-motorsport.com, but they list 6 different ones!!

www.ebay.de is your friend
or try http://vagparts.com/
in glasgow there is a place called tps which is a vag oe trade parts suppliers who are independent of the main dealers,do you have one of these anywhere near you? got me lots of bits for a tt i sold recently , at a good discount too
I got all mine sorted now thanks, managed to swap some for some cossie bits so that kept the cost down, I only need to run EGT once mapped, but am still saving up for a few other bits.
Bloody cars you never have any money with them do you
Last week I bought a alloy rad(60mm), the week before a alloy RS500 intercooler(70mm), now added a few other bits about to order, like leads(HT) and a coilpack, but thinking about having scooby ends put on my magnecor, and using a scoob coilpack, mounted under inlet, less leads dangling around, I made a cam button(got mondy sensor) for the cam sensor, just need to chop up me dizzy when I put ecu on etc for oil pump feed.
Going to have one of the maps as flame thrower!!
