Default Missfire on boost

What normally causes this? i have had the timing checked, new dizzy, plugs, leads, rotor arm, had the fueling set but still bad, drives fine if driven off boost but when it kicks in it really holds back and misses, have been told maybe the cam is worn, sound right? any ideas please on what to try next, thanks

do you have uprated boost pipes, because its quite common for the botttom boost pipe (turbo to metering unit) to collapse under boost not allowing air to the turbo
