Default zvh running problems

hi all,i have just fitted my zvh to my series 2.first turn of the key and it fired up with no problems after priming up the system.took it out for its first run and when you pull away it runs like crap like its miss firing or something.its still running mfi for now but will be going efi at some point,i know its goin to need setting up as it was running a 1.6cvh before the zvh went in,just woundering if thats what people think it needs or should i check other thing first.oh and it ticks over fine with no problems either.cheers adam

My friend had this problem. He had to make the mixture richer. I would not advise this but try it to get it to a tuner. Have you checked the tps to make sure it is set up correctly?

how do i know if the tps is set correctly.it should be as this was set when the engine was built up.some one said to make it run richer as it would be fueling for a 1600 not a 2.0. how is this done,i dont want to kill it on way to the tuners.cheers
