Default 200 block & Big valve head..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fully rebuilt low mileage 4x4 sapphire cosworth engine...

200 Block
No wear/lip on the bores at all
Wire rung
Mahle low comp pistons
All standard size GRP A bearings
ARP rod bolts
Lightened and balanced crank, rods flywheel etc
High Pressure 4x4 oil pump
2wd sump
This bottom end has covered running in miles and that is it..
Comes with all group a gaskets and a ARP Stud n Nut kit if required..

QEP (http://www.q-e-p.co.uk) Fully rebuilt 4x4 Big Valve Head..
37.5mm inlet valves !!
Exh and Inlet ports machined open
Custom Turbo Cosworth Spec CATCAMS (biggest duration tht can be used whilst retaining hydulic lifters) CATCAMS part no. 2330827
New Lifters and all parts for head including double valve springs
CATCAMS Fully adjustable verniers
Powered Coated in black Rocker Cover

This head hasnt been used yet.. and flowed 45% more on the flow bench than a standard head!!


I know how much an engine would cost to build to this spec and with the right turbo and inlet manifold can make 500-550 BHP without running too much boost..

lot of engine there! mind u im runing std bottom end do i need different pistons as wont they kit the valves if there bigger

im kinda interested.

What was mileage before build? Did it melt down or was it precautionary?
What bore size?
So its an unground crank? Was that new or just ok as was?
What compression is the engine? Are there valve cut outs on pistons?
Which 4x4 oil pump is it? There are horror stories about them recently.

Was it a 2wd saff and did you run it in? If so how many miles, which oil, how was oil pressure etc.
Why selling after only running in?
This head wasnt used to run in?
What is the head depth? How many skims?
is it a "99" 200 block?
Who rebuilt/specced it?

Sorry for all the Q's but its a lot of money and i've lost £1k on another "rebuilt" engine!

right, from a quick txt i can make this out

engine was mint @90k before rebuild. was reuilt as it was wanted perfect

saph 4x4 block

crank had regrind

group A bearings

pistons had cutouts

burton power high pressure oil pump

standard bore size
