Default Remove Headrest From Recaro Seats

Hi


I need some help!!

Does anyone know how to remove the HEADREST of Recaro seats?
I´m going to replace my old for a better one.

You just push the button at the base of the headrest mounts.

No you don't

you won't get them off with this.
you can pull them up but they will lock themselfs at the end.



Push the head rest as far down as possible. then look between the inner seat and the outer. (don't know the exact word for it) between the grey outside and the red/grey inside. I hope you know what I mean.

then you will see the bars of the head rest. at the end there is a iron clip. remove this and then you can pull it all out.

just made some pictures for you.

I ripped my seat apart to let you see beter..
you don't have to do this you can just squeese your fingers between it.

pull these clips out at both side and it will come lose.

Hello,
I was having the same problem with my recaros, googled it and landed on this forum, great advice!

The pins don´t have to come out. You just need to pull them a little bit forward and the headrest will be released. Otherwise you will have a bit of a hassle to put them back in place.
